In this instance your best option is to attach from underneath or to the side. Just anchor the very base of the lash so you still have a good bond and strong attachment but have more control over the direction the lash faces.

Some natural lashes can have a very strong, natural curl to them. This can be problematic when attaching from above as the curl can interfere with the bond and even if you are able to attach from above, it will just emphasise the curl even more. It may also be that the extreme curl you then get from the extension doubles back on itself and pokes into the eyelid.
